Games at 6pm and 7pm at “The Sac”

The FRC play two games this week, per the norm.  6pm and 7pm at “The Sac,” a.k.a. Lac Lavon, Field D.

6pm vs. Lucky’s 13 / LaFonda’s

7pm vs. Varmits

What is interesting about the current Burnsville D/E Recreational League Standings is that whilst the FRC may be in sixth place (out of eight teams) in the standings, they have only scored one less run than H-Bombs, who occupies half of first place.

One thing the schedule simply cannot measure is how the FRC really come together after Memorial Day.  History simply does not lie.

The forecast 48 hours prior to first pitch says there will be a high of 67 degrees and a low of 57 degrees.

New Stick

The FRC have a new bat.  A new piece of lumber, if you will.  I have never used this bat, but it sounded like it is suited for the sheer power of the RC batters.

As we all know, nobody, at any level of baseball or softball, plays better with wind in their face than the SFRC’s.  Matty has lumber, Brain has lumber, Mikey has lumber, The Fonz has lumber….it was time to add to the collection.

Unfortunately, the SFRC’s don’t have a game this evening because of the Memorial Holiday.  She’s “Mrs. H” out, and a perfect night for TWO! Big Wood

We’ll see you in a week.  New lumber in hand and no more excuses for 3-5.

SFRC.BIZ Coming soon!

A team full of leaders needs it’s own website.  Here we go…

It came down to WWW.SFRC.BIZ (because it’s a business out there) or WWW.NEILLFIELDA.COM.  In the end SFRC.BIZ won out.  We’ll try to get an update or two out each week.  Currently, I’m hesitant to post anything about the two “headers” we had or the booted double play ball in the last inning we had in our last game.

To the right you’ll see a few items of interest, including: Days until next game, links to the schedule, weather forecast (including wind speed – which is always a factor for the FRC), standings, etc.

The Fighting Red C0CK$ with their own website….FR!!
